The A&E Network show “Dog the Bounty Hunter” is a reality TV series that revolves around the life of the bounty hunter family known as the Chapmans. It mainly revolves around Duane Lee “Dog” Chapman, who is Dog the Bounty Hunter. But Dog did not get his fame until after 2003, where there was the controversy in which he headed straight into Mexico to capture serial rapist Andrew Luster, the heir to the fortune of the popular Max Factor cosmetic company.

But, Dog, his son Leland, and his associate Tim Chapman, were all arrested by United States Marshals and jailed in Honolulu, Hawaii. This was on the behalf of Mexico’s government. They were charged with the kidnapping of Andrew Luster from Mexico. From then, A&E Network found a possible jackpot, which was a reality TV show revolving around the life and work of Dog Chapman.

The program also did a good job of showing audiences that even Dog needs to enlist help in order to catch all of these bounties.

However, there is quite a touch of one-sidedness. With most of the episodes I have seen, the bounties were normal everyday people that made mistakes. The bounties themselves were very nice and cooperative for the most part. Surprisingly, the bounties fully cooperated with the bounty hunters. Perhaps Dog has a way with the people or that the bounties are carefully screened. Most of them were very repentant in what they have done.

Personally, I would like to have seen Dog capture some of the worst kinds of criminals such as rapists and pedophiles. Most of the bounties were charged with drug use and drug possession. But, the show did show audiences about the form of crystal meth known as “ice” which is killing the Hawaiian people. In many of the
